❥♡⇠≫So I have to admit when I heard about the Dr Brown's bottles when I was pregnant with Stella from Holly I was thinking, "yeah right these suckers won't work!".... And it did not sound fun to clean the 2 extra parts that come with it ( these are the hidden bonuses P.S.) but seriously these are the BEST bottles!

I was using the Playtex bottles with Caprice and loved those then or thought I did. I made sure to have them all ready for when Stella was born. I used them on her a few times and wasn't a fan because Holly kept saying, "use the Dr Brown's trust me!"

Stell was super gassy and hiccupy like all babies. I was practically shoving gas drops and hiccup stuff down her throat all day. Well.... Guess what??!! As soon as I switched her to these bottles, I soon realized she never needed all that "extra" stuff again. And the best part I NEVER burp her EVER! Seriously. No. Joke. You don't have too because there is an internal vent that acts as a vacuum to eliminate air bubbles. Mommies Run for the Hills and purchase these beauties! You won't regret it! My baby is happy as a clam! ❥♡⇠≫

1 week later...

I'm SO bad at finding time to follow up with my IG posts here on the blog. I blame it on being a full time working mom. As most can relate too, when you work full time you have a hard time to even write a to-do list, let alone check off anything! 7 more weeks of school left and I'm FREE for the summer! Padres style//

Today we had family Sunday Funday at the Padres game. We took the girls on the coaster downtown San Diego with some of our friends. So fun! Caprice hasn't been on the coaster before so the "choo-choo" train is now her new FAV!! The husband just bought these "nerd glasses" and was wearing them today... He kills me. So I borrowed them for the outfit post and most of the day... The weekend sure flewwwwwww by once again!!!

Pop of color

I love color and this beanie is it. In my opinion, we all need color in our lives.. Having a pop of color can totally change a muted outfit. All depends on the look your going for... I also am obsessed with getting that pop of color on your lips too! Super fun.. My current fav color is MAC Viva Glam Nicki. Seriously the best... 💋 Oh and here is Caprice sporting mommies beanie too! I was vacuuming when she walked out in her #ootd. Ummmm yes she even grabbed matching heels.

That's what I feel like getting ready with three kids.
Most days I have to pick "outfit" OR "make-up"...and usually it's the outfit...and then really big sunglasses:)

It's so funny how much my style, like many moms, has changed with these munchkins. The things a wear now HAVE to be comfortable but edgy.

And this outfit is just that! Forever21 has such a great selection of graphic t-shirts and patterned jeans...and it's a perfect place to shop for a mommy on a budget.

The Modern Haylow Baby Shower

We have an amazing friend who has been designing our baby showers and kids birthdays for the last 6 years. She is such a talent and we are so grateful for her and the amazing ideas she puts together!

Here is my daughter Haylows baby shower theme we did. As you can see I have a thing for ikat, roses, antlers, and of course things that SPARKLE!!!

DIY bulletin board

Since being on Spring Break for the past 2 weeks, I finally had some time to check off things from my very long to-do list! So glad!! I've been in desperate need of a cute kitchen bulletin board to hang pictures and our family calendar on. So I began to pin ideas on pinterest and after posting these art work display wall ideas on IG, I was totally inspired.. I decided to go with my original plan to use fabric, but I am going to make the chevron bulletin board for the girls' playroom next. I'm stealing the idea from _DesignJoy! Thanks for the idea love!!

Ok so here's how and what you'll need//

I first made a trip to Joanns Fabric Store to find some fabric and get my supplies. As soon as I walked in the store I found this perfect fabric that is actually outdoor fabric but hey, it totally works! I bought 2 yards because I decided to cover a lamp shade as well. I'll post that later.. 

Then I got 2 12x12 pieces of cork board. You need 2 so it is thick enough for the thumbtacks to push thru. 

I also bought the gold sequin strip, BUT after gluing it on once the fabric was in place, I wasn't in love so I took it off! Whoops, total trial and error...I was wanting it as a border but it was just too much for the 11x14 size frame that I got. 

Then I was on a mission to find a frame. I found this  one at Target of course, for $14.99. Total score!

  


Ok here are the steps. Once again, I didn't go crazy with the step by step pictures. I just got too excited as I was making it.

1) Measure the inside and cut out the cork board. I used a razor blade, but scissors will work too.
2) Cut out the fabric with just a little bit extra to fold over and glue.
3) Glue to the cork board making sure you pull it really tight!
4) Now glue the back of the cork  to the holding of the frame.
5) Attach the backing to the frame and......
                            VOILA// you have a bulletin board that looks super cute on any wall!

I love to shop at different stores to mix up my style... You will come to see that I love certain stores such as F21, Nordstroms, Target, TJ Maxx, and basically anywhere convenient, affordable and something that represents my mix and match style.

I used to shop at Active for years growing up especially in high school. My husband loves this store and I like to look around when he's shopping.. he loves clothes too.... this is another reason why I love him so, I mean c'mon who wouldn't want a hubby who is into style too!

Anyways, Holly just recently got some amazing coral pants from there that I of course NEEDED... We like to call each other our own walking mirrors, so when she showed up at my house for a play date looking so cute in these pants (which I will post later for another time.. I mean I do need you all to keep reading and anticipating our BINKlogs, aka BlOg PosTs. That's my new name for it...)

I practically pushed Holly out of the door and cut our little play date time in half.. sorry "Bink Kids" but this momma needs some new pants!!!! I ran for the hills, as we call it when it is a MUST PURCHASE.   After grabbing the pants and thank gawdddd they had my size, I totally snagged the last one.. it was meant to be. I also couldn't help but snatch up this amazing LA shirt that I'm wearing. I've been wanting an LA shirt for awhile now and what kinda wife would I be if I wasn't representing my hubby's job for the LACOFD... duhhhhhh...money well spent, right? I also couldn't pass up these leggings as well. So check out skate and surf shops too girls, you may just be surprised on the goodies you may find there!!!

Urban Baby Runway

I'm picky...
I can't help it...
I try to fix it, but it's just in my nature.

I really have to LOVE something, in order for me to feel a need for it in my life or my kids life. I'm big on quality over quantity... but within my budget:)

So when something speaks to me in HOLLY language, and we connect...it's like magic.
I felt this way when I came across this adorable site Urban Baby Runway! They have the most adorable clothes for little dudes and mini mommies...

There little mans section has some killer finds, and a few shirts that I wouldn't mind wearing...if only they had my size.;(

Holly has the Medium since I like to refer to her as the "minimalist" while I'm the "hoarder" in the relationship. Let's just say I carry ALL my lipsticks, lipliners, and glosses with me in my purse at all times. I have enough for a small store in my bag....addict i tell you, so you guessed it, I have the Large.

Here are some of my favorite makeup products I'm currently using now.. PS, we are addicted to our Chanel Vitalamere Aqua foundation compact!!! It seriously gives you dewy and flawless makeup.

My other must haves are NARS Orgasm blush and Albatross highlighter. Oh, and after watching many hours of MaskCara's YouTube makeup tutorials (yes another thing I'm obsessed with right now... you'll soon find out I get totally obsessed with new things and become fully involved with it.. that's the "ADHD" in me... ) I've just been brought back to my high school years ! Cara recommends Loreal Volumionus mascara. I was using MAC, but I do have to say this stuff is amazing and only $8!! Total scoreeeeeeee! I don't know why I ever stopped using this bad boy. I will be restocking.
